New Orangery Extension
This is one of our newest projects which we have loved designing and working on. The client wished for an extension filled with light and views of the garden and so “ The Orangery” was born.

We wanted The Orangery to be sympathetic but also to enhance the existing beauty of the lovely house.
It has direct views out onto the garden through the large modern windows.
It also has large sliding doors to access the patio area were there is outdoor seating and also easy access to the garden itself.
Inside we have build a sleek modern kitchen with all the latest modern appliances easy to work with, practical and attractive.
The area works so well so the cook can interact with guests or family as he or she prepares the meals. Another window gives more views from the sink unit.
A dining table is also positioned within the kitchen area for ease of dining but still with those all important glimpses of outside whatever the weather.
The seating area is comfy but stylish flowing well to the outside patio area to enjoy a drink in the sunshine or alfresco dining.
For winter time or colder days a wood burner and traditional stone fire place has been installed for cosiness so The Orangery can be enjoyed all the seasons of the year. This is something the client really wanted and we feel it works beautifully.
Here is a view showing how well the two area’s flow and show the lovely natural light which floods the room.
An oak truss gives the room a traditional feel matching well the the doors and window frames. The high ceiling gives an overall feeling of space and even more light can enter through the Velux window.
