Extension Approved in Ribble Valley’s Conservation Area

We have recently received an approval from Ribble Valley Borough Council for a single storey extension to a quaint cottage in Ribchester.

The property is situated within a conservation area which means any form of extensions/ alterations to the property requires full planning permission.

This extension will make a great difference to the layout internally by giving our client more space but also opening up the existing floorspace to create a more open plan living concept.

Details were submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council including materials chosen and a planning statement which outlined what was proposed and why we felt the scheme was justified to be approved.

The client is looking at completing the work in the Summer of 2024 so hopefully we can share some progression images soon.
