Wallpaper Trends for 2024
Is Wallpaper old fashioned and out of style?…….. NO! :)
On the contrary it has been regenerated and reimaged for modern living.
It offers an excellent way to express personal style, experiment with modern trends and transform spaces with new textures, colours and ideas.
Here at Inspire Design Services in Longridge we have been investigating the new ideas out there and have compiled a list of some of the new designs ideas and places to source these exciting new products.
New for this year is the use of modern muted shades of pink, beige and brown a change from shades of grey and whites of the past few years, however at the other end of the scale are sepia-toned mural wallpapers, neat graphic prints or abstract designs with fabulous bright colours to make a bold statement.
Different finishes and choices of textures are also things to consider the choice is huge.
Covering just one wall gives you the option of being very bold with your wallpaper choice without overwhelming the room.
One of the new trends also for 2024 is wallpaper being used in wood panelling and lining the back of joinery work and also compliments using with a media wall.

Ø Decide if you are having one feature wall or decorating the whole room
Ø Choose which style you prefer
Ø Decide a colour palette
Ø Choose colours , and patterns or metallics and textures.

It can be quite a challenge of where to begin the search for your new wallpaper, there are many options out there.
Do you prefer to visit a store and bring home wallpaper books , shop on line or ask advise from decorators or designers.

This is a great help as it gives you some insight into what a particular colour or pattern will look like in your chosen room.
Prices can vary considerably but there is no need to go over budget ,ok there are some fabulous options at a fabulous price but many times clients have chosen a design unknowingly at a great cost and the finished project looks a million dollars!!
